Intended Audience
This program is designed for new-in-practice pathologists, or those transitioning to a new position, who desire a comprehensive pragmatic review for daily general practice in both anatomic pathology and select clinical pathology topics, as well as professional development sessions.
Note: This program is not intended to be a board review course, or to replace residency or subspecialty training.
Description
This fast-paced interactive multi-day review of “bread and butter” pathology cases across subspecialties is designed to prepare pathologists as they begin a new job or take on new responsibilities. Interspersed throughout the virtual training program are panel discussions on professional development topics such as being a first-time medical director, how to be a good colleague, and managing your finances.
The bootcamp consists of 4 hours of live training per day (combination of lectures with panel discussions) as well as 6 hours of pre-recorded bonus lecture. It includes:
- An intensive curriculum providing a practical overview of common cases as well as addressing near misses and pitfalls
- Interactive panel discussions addressing professional development topics
- Live sessions with Q & A and bonus pre-recorded sessions
- Access to a supportive environment via an exclusive online community for all attendees of the program, to share questions, network, and dialog with faculty and colleagues
- Access to all recordings after the program as well as additional material such as sample sign-out templates where applicable
