SEM1-B 2025: Sperm Morphology Analysis: From Preparation to Practice

All laboratory personnel from a laboratory that participated in the SEM1-B 2025 Semen Analysis Surveys program.

Description
Staff from laboratories participating in the SEM1-B 2025 Semen Analysis Surveys program can individually earn CE credit by reading the Participant Summary (mailed to the institution or accessed online) and answering online learning assessment questions. The online learning assessment questions are designed to reinforce concepts and discussion points presented in the reading.

Objectives
After completing this activity, you should be able to:

  1. Discuss the fundamental structure and function of sperm.
  2. Examine the processes in preparing, examining, and reporting semen parameters.
  3. Understand the steps for establishing an education plan and good laboratory practices for reproducible and reliable semen analysis.

CE (Continuing Education for nonphysicians): The CAP designates this educational activity for a maximum of 1 credit(s) of continuing education. Participants should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

This activity is approved for continuing education credit in the states of California and Florida.
