Description
This program gives physicians and laboratory professionals the information needed to qualify as the director of a moderate complexity laboratory under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) at 42 CFR 493.1405(b)(2)(ii)(B).

Objectives
After completing this program, you should be able to:
- Understand change management principles, strategic planning tools, and data analysis to improve laboratory operations, justify resource needs, and enhance productivity.
- Implement effective communication strategies, teamwork principles, and leadership roles to facilitate collaboration, influence decision-making, and manage interpersonal issues within the laboratory setting.
- Understand the responsibilities of a laboratory director in all phases of laboratory testing, including pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical processes.
- Implement quality management programs, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance measures to ensure safe, efficient, and legally compliant laboratory operations.
